Had an hour to kill in Creswick this morning so I was looking for somewhere to grab breakfast and a coffee and read my book for a bit. The moment I walked past I could smell a good breakfast and the nose did not lie. The menu had all the classics and I'm a simple man so I went with scrambled eggs with bacon on sourdough. The light creaminess of the scrambled eggs on my fork was a welcome contrast to the heavy darkness of Clive Barker's Cabal in my other hand, as were the lovely staff of the cafe the opposite of the grim characters in the novel. I'm fairly certain though that this lovely breakfast and coffee would pair well with any genre of novel, and I highly recommend heading down to Meg's Place for a nice relaxing morning.

The most friendly and helpful service combined with fresh, tasty food and drinks. I love it when you instantly like a place. It's not often, but when you experience it, you need to share. Meg's Place is a winner , scones with jam and cream, a nostalgic stand out. My sincere thanks to all who contributed to such a pleasant experience.

Dont underestimate this place, it may look like a bikies haunt but the one thing I learnt about bikies haunts are that they serve the best roadie foods. This coffee is hands down the best I've had in Victoria if not in Australia, and that's not said lightly. Im now trying to find out how to source the beans for home use back in Melbourne.

It’s pretty much exactly what you hope a cafe will be. The egg and bacon muffin is astonishing value and absolutely delicious. It’s a very generous serve with a good amount of bacon and a beautifully cooked egg. I enjoyed my coffee very much too. The service here is utterly gorgeous. It was very helpful and genuinely friendly from a number of servers and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves, which is nice. Full marks from me

Although just only take away, but in the suburb, there’s a cafe like this… it was good. Seat was big enough, so it wasn’t too squeezing when sitting . The food and coffee was great , too. A good place to have a short break :)

Staff were very friendly and the food looked delicious! The venue is situated in Creswick town and there's plenty of high-street parking. Coffee was okay (could be stronger!), and there's both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Dogs were welcome in the outdoor seating which was great.
